What is Cargo?

inside_cargo

Cargo is an independent home furnishings store in Portland's Pearl District. It's a showroom, flea market, and international bazaar rolled into one overwhelming retail experience. Our fearless leader, Patty, spends her time traveling and looking for things she has never seen before. Her credo can be summed up as "more is more." What doesn't fit neatly in her overhead compartment is sent back on container vessel to the Port of Portland and trucked to our Pearl District Warehouse. On container days the Cargo Girls and a few good men unload the container and a few hours later we sit down and have a big lunch.
